Type 304 is the most widely used austenitic stainless steel, also known as 18-8 for its 18% chromium and 8% nickel composition. This sheet product offers exceptional formability for bending and deep drawing operations. It is non-magnetic in the annealed condition and meets ASTM A240 standards, providing excellent resistance to a wide range of atmospheric and corrosive environments found in industrial and domestic use.
As a thin 16 gauge sheet, this product is well-suited for applications requiring formability and a clean finish without heavy structural load. Finish Options
