Type 304 stainless steel is the most common austenitic grade, containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel for outstanding resistance to atmospheric and chemical corrosives. This cold drawn bar conforms to ASTM A276 standards and is non-magnetic in the annealed condition. It combines a 73,200 PSI tensile strength with exceptional ductility, making it easy to form and weld.
