Type 304 stainless steel is the most common austenitic chromium-nickel alloy, known for its "18-8" composition which provides excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments. This flat bar is produced in an annealed condition, making it non-magnetic and highly ductile. It conforms to ASTM A276 standards and combines good mechanical strength with remarkable formability and weldability.
