Type 304 stainless steel is a chromium-nickel alloy known as "18-8" for its composition, providing exceptional resistance to atmospheric and chemical corrosion. This angle conforms to ASTM A276 standards. Its austenitic structure makes it non-magnetic in the annealed condition, highly ductile, and easily formable. It offers excellent weldability using common fusion methods and maintains its properties in a wide range of temperatures.
