Hot rolled diamond plate, also known as tread or checker plate, is manufactured from A36 carbon steel. The hot rolling process creates a durable but less refined surface ideal for functional use. It conforms to ASTM A786 for the raised pattern and ASTM A36 for its base material properties, ensuring good strength, formability, and excellent weldability for easy fabrication.
