1018 Cold Rolled Hexagon Bar is produced by drawing hot rolled bar through a die at room temperature. This process increases strength, improves the surface finish, and holds tighter dimensional tolerances. Conforming to ASTM A108, its low carbon content provides a balance of toughness and ductility, with excellent weldability and machinability rated at 70% of 1212 steel.
