Produced by rolling cold finished low-carbon steel bar through dies, this all thread rod features increased surface hardness and precise thread dimensions. It conforms to the strength requirements of ASTM A307 Grade A, providing a balance of 63,800 PSI tensile strength and ductility. The material is easily cut and suitable for general purpose fastening where high-strength alloys are not required.
As a medium-diameter 7/8" rod, it is ideal for substantial fastening tasks. Common applications include creating custom-length anchor bolts for concrete, suspending HVAC systems and cable trays, bracing structural frames, and fabricating jigs and fixtures for manufacturing lines.
