This heat-treatable grade conforms to ASTM B211 and offers a versatile combination of high strength (45,000 PSI tensile), good corrosion resistance, and excellent weldability. The T6 temper indicates it has been solution heat-treated and artificially aged to achieve optimal strength properties.
