- 3003 Aluminum Construction
- ASTM B209 Certified
- 22,000 PSI Tensile Strength
- Excellent Formability & Weldability
3003-H14 aluminum is a commercially pure aluminum alloy with added manganese, which increases its strength by about 20% over 1100 grade. As a non-heat-treatable alloy, it achieves its half-hard (H14) temper through strain hardening. This process provides a great balance of moderate strength, high ductility, and excellent corrosion resistance, making it a versatile and economical choice.
This medium-gauge 0.063" thickness is robust enough for structural panels, machine guards, and vehicle body panels, yet remains lightweight and easy to form. It is commonly used for architectural cladding, trailer siding, and equipment enclosures where a durable, weather-resistant material is required.
